Here are some of our current volunteer opportunities:

Organizing Our Vast Media Collection:
Our media collection contains practically every form of audio media created from Edison Wax Cylinders to CDs and everything in between. We are looking for people with an interest in preserving, cataloging and digitizing our media collection.

Museum Docent:
Anyone interested in learning about the collection in order to give guided tours. We will train you on the parts of the collection that interest you. This is a weekly commitment rather than a project-based opportunity.

Facilities Support:
We need people to help maintain the museum and help expand our exhibit area. We're looking for a wide range of expertise: painting, carpentry and cabinetry, electrical, along with helping move artifacts and display cases, inventory supplies, etc.

Volunteer Coordinator:
We are looking for someone to help with the intake of volunteers, inputting applications, returning phone calls and managing the influx of volunteers that AMRE receives. The coordinator will work and consult with the Director Of Operations on a weekly basis.
